Three Things to Consider When Purchasing a Baby Stroller

When most parents go to purchase their baby stroller, they usually are either just looking at the cheap strollers, or even worse just browsing the stroller section at their local baby store. And because they don't have a plan they really don't have any idea on how to gauge which stroller is any good or not. To help with the issue, we've put together a few of the important questions that a parent needs to consider before buying their stroller.

Are You Using Public Transit?
This is a big one. If you plan to use public transportation you are going to have to consider if you will take the child out of the stroller to fold the stroller up, or if you are just going to take it on as is. Things like the size and weight of the stroller will make a big difference in your purchase decision. Also, how easily you can fold your stroller up will be important. So purchasing Maclaren strollers may be a good idea because of how light and easy they are to fold up.

If you are not taking public transit, then you probably have a vehicle that you will use to transport your child. The size of your vehicle may determine how big a stroller system you get. A big full size stroller is easier to load into a minivan than a small sedan.

Where Will You Store The Stroller?
This is another issue that most parents ignore. If you plan on storing the stroller in a closet then you will want to make sure it fits. Plus if you have to go up and down stairs to put the stroller away, you are going to want to make sure that you don't have a hard time lifting the stroller at all.
